Aussan announces Indian Veterinary Association approval for organically certified products, L44 and L42.

Aussan Laboratories, an Australian-based manufacturer of organic chemicals for sanitisation and agricultural applications, has recently been approved by the Indian Veterinary Association (IVA) for two of their organically certified products, L44 and L42.

The recognition marks a major milestone in the fight against livestock diseases that cause severe economic losses to farmers. Aussan L44-V has been approved by the IVA for the treatment of Mastitis, Lumpy Skin Disease and general wound healing.

Lumpy Skin Disease has a mortality rate of around 60% in cattle that contract it. Aussan L44-V applied to the hide of an infected animal has been shown to provide a cure to this deadly viral disease.

Mastitis is very prevalent in Indian dairies and causes severe economic impact to the millions of small dairy farmers when a cow is infected. Treatment of udders with L44-V has been shown to cure the infection in a matter of a few days, bring the cow back into production very quickly.

Testing of Aussan L44-V when applied topically to open wounds on cattle showcased a signification increase in healing within a 24-hour time period, offering an effective, organic treatment for many farmers within the livestock industry.

Aussan L42 has been approved by the IVA for its use as an organic disinfectant on hard surfaces. The extremely versatile disinfectant also shows benefits such as its ability to inhibit flies and mosquitoes without the need for toxic chemicals.

Aussan Laboratories is passionate about creating safe and effective solutions for agriculture. This approval from The IVA for both Aussan L44 and Aussan L42 products highlights our continued commitment in supporting a healthier future for both farmer and livestock without compromising efficacy.

Note: These products are not approved for veterinary use outside India at this time.
